This program, Mass Communication, is designed to aid students in developing a conscious criteria by which to determine the worth of what they enjoy as social commentaries and as effective communicative representations of essential truths of human experience as presented by the media. This will apply to their personal selection of film, radio, and television programs. WBHS programming covers the Belleville schools both academically and athletically as well as community functions. Graphics also inform the communities of up coming events. Students disc jockey their favorite music and may gain an FCC license at the end of the year. The educational/community station also reaches the surrounding towns of Bloomfield, Glen Ridge, and the Oranges. Presently, many students have entered the field at ABC, CBS, WWOR, MTV, Atlantic Records, Cable programs, ESPN, Warner Brothers, etc. Mrs. Pamela Hagerty is the Supervisor of the Business, Technology, Related Arts & Vocational Education Department.

The slogan WBHS is Best is the reminder that the course brings out the best in everyone. Former WBHS Crew Members keep in touch with the family-run station and some even assist the program like 1989 Crew Member who created the first WBHS web page. Greetings to all former Crew Members. . . . PEACE ! !.
