Belleville High School Bands

   Small Ensembles

   These groups will be starting their rehearsals in November. They will perform serious       
   compositions, with some popular music mixed in, and will perform at various functions. The following are possible small groups that may or may not be formed each year.

           Flute Ensemble
           Percussion Ensemble

  
Concert Band
   The Concert Band seating auditions will take place during the first two weeks of school.  
   Students will receive the audition materials on the second day of school.  After auditions the 
   Concert Band members will begin preparing for their performance at the Winter Band Concert 
   in January.  Our Spring Band Concert will be in June.  Please be aware that all Concert Band 
   members are required to have a white dress shirt or blouse (with collar), black dress slacks or 
   skirt (the skirt must be knee length or longer), black socks or stockings, and black shoes for all 
   concerts.  A black bow tie will be provided to all members.

Dear Band Members and Band Parents:
           Welcome to our web page.  The Belleville High School Band is a small band  
   program with large band program opportunities.  As listed above, we have quite a few 
   divergent performing groups and, as you can tell from our band calendar, all our groups 
   are kept busy, all year.  We also strive for excellence as evidenced by our many awards and
   accomplishments.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any

The 2007-2008 Field Show will be "Dance Music of the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's."  

Rehearsals: Every Tuesday 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM, every Wednesday and Thursday 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, and most Saturdays during September through November.  See a band calendar, which is sent home monthly for detailed listings and our performance dates.  The Band Calendar for this month is provided below.

Belleville High School Wind Ensemble

        The Wind Ensemble is comprised of our top players and performs college level music with only one person on each part, with a few exceptions. The Wind Ensemble is an honors level course.  Auditions take place each January for the next school
 year's ensemble.
